What makes the PicoWay Laser safe to use for removing permanent makeup?
The PicoWay Laser System uses photoacoustic energy vs. thermal. Heat is not created during the treatment process as with other laser systems. The lack of heat makes the laser safe to use on the face. We can treat areas such as eyebrows without risk of burning or damaging hair follicles. Our laser works within the layers of the skin, so we do not break the skin during treatment. This greatly decreases the risk of scarring, and results in little to no downtime.
What to expect during treatment:
At Lumière Laser Spa, we are able to fully remove or fade microblading, lip liner or blush, and remove cosmetic ink freckles. The PicoWay Laser System’s highly adjustable settings sets our treatments apart from other forms of ink removal. We can correct mistakes and reshape contour lines by removing a single spot or eyebrow tail. We can also fully remove microblading or traditional tattooed eyebrows.
Full removal of permanent makeup can be completed in as little as 1-3 treatments. Corrections are typically done in 1 treatment. Treatments can be done every 4-6 weeks.
Permanent makeup removal treatments have little to no downtime. Redness typically dissipates overnight. Color of ink may vary through the removal process. Brows may turn red or yellow or gray after the first treatment. Clients can apply makeup to the area the very next day.
